Campingpark Sonnensee is located in Versmold, Germany, right on the edge of Lake Sonnensee. It is perfect for holidaymakers looking for various outdoor activities. On-site, there are 110 touring pitches with 16Amp electric hook-up points available. Pitches are spacious; some are hard-standing and separated by mature hedging, and some have direct views of the lake. The 275 privately owned permanent pitches are located separately from the touring pitches. 

There are plenty of activities and amenities for the whole family, including a large outdoor play area for the younger campers with a bounce pad, a field for ball games and a volleyball court. There is also an animal farm on site where guests can interact and feed animals such as goats. An animation programme run during the high season offers several activities for everyone to enjoy, including bicycle tours of the surrounding area, bingo nights and live music.  Lake Sonnensee is excellent for those who want a refreshing swim in the summer. The lake is stocked with fish too, so if you're looking for a relaxing activity, be sure to bring your fishing rod. A restaurant and bar can also be found on-site, serving various local dishes and quick bites to eat. If you want to cook back at your pitch, there is a shop selling necessities and a daily bread delivery service is run during high season. 

The town of Versmold is a small town, but there are a few things to see there, such as the St. Ägidius Church and the Heimatmuseum (local history museum).
