Camping Zürich is a smallish site only 4.5 km. from the centre of the city, in a pleasant situation, but with more demands on space than it can meet. With 150 touring pitches (all with 6/16A electricity), it may well pack units rather closely in season but there is much transit trade, so there are usually plenty of vacancies for early arrivals. Caravans go on flat hardstandings; tents, for which space may be easier to find, go on lawns. Trains pass by the site regularly through the day and up until midnight; there is also some road noise.

Facilities at Camping Fischers Fritz

The single sanitary block has been improved and has British style toilets, with some squat style for men, individual washbasins (cubicles for women) with cold water and hot water on payment for the showers. Motorhome services. Shop, café (all year). Bar. Swimming is possible into fairly deep water. Fishing. Jetty where small boats can be launched. WiFi.

Site is on southern side of the town and western side of the lake, at Wollishofen; well signed from most parts of town and at motorway exit. It is on lakeside road no. 3 (southwards) signed Chur.
