Camping Zeestrand is a well kept site in the far northeast of Holland on the Eems estuary, which forms the border with Germany, close to a sandy beach. The site has 120 average size pitches with 65 for touring, electricity (6-10A) available. Most pitches are unmarked and laid out on an open, level field but a few have hard standing. The campsite is surrounded by trees giving most pitches good shade. The nearby town of Delfzijl lies next to the World Heritage Wadden Sea and is an ideal spot for sailing and boating. It also has a small beach and many shops, bars and other attractions.

Its port is the fifth largest in Holland and it has ferries that can take you to the German city of Emden in Lower Saxony. The University City of Groningen is well known for its shops and borders a Unesco World heritage area. The area around the campsite is famous for its nature reserves and seals can be seen basking on the beach at low tide. Many marked walks and cycle routes surround the site.

Three toilet blocks with all necessary facilities including those for babies. Washing machine and dryer. Snack bar with covered terrace and TV. Bread to order. Play areas. Multisport area. Games room. Activities for adults and children mid July to mid Aug. WiFi (free in snack bar, charged on pitches).

Directions to Camping Zeestrand Eems-Dollard

Leave the E22 motorway about 22 km. east of Groningen. Take N362 northeast for about 14 km. and then follow local roads towards Termunterzijl to the campsite in just under 8 km.
