Campingplatz Wolfratshausen is a small, family-owned campsite located in the town of Wolfratshausen in Bavaria, Germany. It is situated on the banks of the Isar River, about 35 kilometres south of Munich. Amenities include the "Anno72" restaurant with a beer garden, a communal kitchen and a dining area. The site also has a communal BBQ area too. There are 54 pitches on site, of which 35 are for touring units and have 16-amp hook-up point. The pitches are all spacious and well-maintained, and most of them offer some shade. There are also four tents available to hire. The Isar River is a popular spot for swimming, fishing, and kayaking. There are also several hiking trails along the river.

Sports and nature lovers will get their money's worth with the possibilities of kayaking, dinghy and rafting, hiking, mountain biking, climbing and paragliding. There are also a variety of excursion options for culture enthusiasts with the castles of Linderhof, Neuschwanstein and Nymphenburg, the fairytale forest, the Deutsches Museum or the Residenz in Munich and various museums, which can be reached quickly from the site. The town of Wolfratshausen has a variety of shops, restaurants, and attractions, with a castle that is worth visiting too.

Directions to Camping Wolfratshausen

From Munich on the A95 Garmisch-Partenkirchen take exit 6 Wolfratshausen. At the end of the slip road turn left onto Wolfratshausener Str. After a layby on your left, bear right to join a loop and turn right onto the St2370 Äußere Beuerberger Str. Continue ahead on this road to eventually turn right onto Badstraße. The site is then on the right off this road.
