Camping Waldsee is a comfortable natural oasis in the Franconian Lake District between Brombachsee and Rothsee, in the Nuremberg metropolitan region. The site stretches picturesquely along a bathing lake on the edge of a large forest area. Whether you arrive with your motorhome, caravan or tent, or choose to hire one of the log cabins, mobile homes or an apartment, you are sure of an unforgettable holiday in the middle of nature all year round. The approximately 400 km long hiking and cycling network that surrounds the site, as well as the proximity to the cities of Nuremberg and Roth offer interesting destinations for exciting day trips. The site has over 200 pitches most of which are seasonal. There are 15 touring pitches which are serviced and a further 60 with just electric hook-up point 16amp. Separate area for tents. 6 mobile homes/chalets are available to hire.

Nuremberg is worth visiting, you can park your car free of charge at the train station in Roth and use the cheap train connection. During the summer holidays the site organises a varied entertainment program for both big and small guests.

Location

From Heilbronn/Nuremberg Motorway A6 take the Roth exit, continue on the B2 to the exit Wernsbach/Eckersmühlen. Here you turn left to Wallesau. In Wallesau follow the main road and turn the last road before the sign on the right (Badstraße) and follow site signs for approx. 1 km. From Augsburg take the B2 to the Wernsbach exit. Turn right to Wallesau. In Wallesau, take the last road before the sign on the right (Badstraße). After about 1 km you will arrive at the site. From Munich/Nuremberg take the A9 to exit 55 Allersberg. At the roundabout continue in the direction of Hilpoltstein. In Hilpoltstein follow signs to Roth and then in Eckersmühlen turn left to Wallesau. In Wallesau, immediately after the sign for the entrance to the village, turn left (Badstraße). After approx. 1 km you will arrive at the site.
