Camping Vranjica Belvedere is 30 km. west of Split, on the beautiful Dalmatian coast. This large terraced site lies on a wooded hillside with magnificent views across the crystal blue sea to the neighbouring islands. There are over 400 average size, marked pitches, the majority with 10/16A electricity (long leads required), some have water and drainage. Rock pegs are advised. A stylish but small swimming pool with sunbeds overlooks the Adriatic Sea. There is a rocky and pebbly beach adjacent to the site offering many watersports. A small area of beach accepts dogs.
The site is only 5 km. from the historic World Heritage Site of Trogir, which is well worth a visit. A bridge connects Trogir with the island of Ciovo, which has a large bay and a generous pebble beach sloping gently into the sea. A 2 km. seaside promenade leads from the campsite to the old fishing village of Ceget, the departure point for full day trips to the nearby islands. This is an ideal site for those wishing to relax, enjoy the local sporting activities or explore this wonderful, ancient region of Croatia.

Four modern toilet blocks located across the site were still being completed at the time of our visit (facilities for disabled visitors in one block at far end). Laundry. Motorhome services. Minimarket. Restaurant, takeaway and beach bar. New children’s pool. Tennis. Minigolf. Boules. Multisports court. Watersports. Playground. Bicycle hire. Full family entertainment and sporting activities. Communal barbecues only. WiFi (free).

Leave A1 motorway, junction 2, signed Prgomet. Continue south, approx. 12 km. to the D8 coastal route near airport. Take D8 west, signed Sibenik, for approx. 10 km. to site.
