This attractive, family-run site nestles between the Rhine and the Black Forest in a quiet rural area close to the French and Swiss borders north of Basel. The campsite is in a peaceful spot among fields on the edge of the village of Sulzburg, which is surrounded by vineyards and an attractive backdrop of tree-covered mountains. It is well situated for walking or cycling, with numerous scenic routes running through the Black Forest. Visitors are entitled to a Konus Card, which gives free bus and train travel throughout the Black Forest. Only a few kilometres to the south is the spa town of Badenweiler, with its modern spa facilities right beside the old Roman baths.

The 85 touring pitches have electricity, water and drainage and are a good size on level gravel. English is spoken, and the Grommek family ensures that the site is well-managed and maintained with enjoyable events like regular barbecue and grill nights.

Sanitary facilities include private cabins, showers and laundry facilities. Accessible Facilities. Two family shower rooms. Motorhome services. Snack bar, small shop and bar next to reception. Gas supplies. Natural water pool (May-Sept) and eco garden. Playground. TV/club room. WiFi throughout (charged). Charcoal barbecues are not permitted.

Location

From A5 exit 65 head towards Müllheim on 378 and straight across road 3 (Badenweiler). At roundabout turn left (Britzingen, Sulzburg). Continue through vineyards and follow signs to Sulzburg. As you enter village, turn left at first roundabout and site is 300 m. on left. Note: Village centre has an arch with just 3.1 m. headroom.
