Alan Rogers Review of Camping Plein Soleil
Camping Plein Soleil is just north of the pilgrimage site of Lourdes, an ideal location at the foot of the Pyrenees. Several restaurants and shops can be found within a few minutes’ walk of this green terraced site. The excellent bus connection with the centre of Lourdes makes the site an ideal base for a city visit. The pitches are situated on the higher ground where you will be treated to a panoramic view of the surrounding hills and mountains. Even if you have not brought your own bike, you can discover the surroundings by bike. There are various bicycles for rent on site. Take a look at the lake of Lourdes for example. Mountain bike tours through the Pyrenees are a popular activity in this area. Brigitte and Jean-François welcome you to their three-star campsite. They will listen to you and advise you on the animations and tourist activities of the surroundings. The site has 35 touring pitches with 4/13-amp hook-up point. 15 mobile homes and bungalows available to hire
For children there is a playground with swings and slides. Inside, in the recreation room, there is a pool table, pinball machine and a dartboard. There is also a terrace near the reception where you can have a drink.

From Tarbes via the N21 take 1st or 2nd on the right, Avenue du Monge when entering Lourdes. The site is signposted.
