This well equipped site with 314 pitches (all with 6A electricity) has direct access to a 70 metre wide, 1 km. long private sandy beach that leads down to the gently shelving waters of the Adriatic. On the beach, from where the Croatian coast is visible some 35 km. away, each of the level, mostly shaded pitches has its own numbered sun umbrella. This is a good family site with safe sea swimming (with lifeguards) and an attractive large pool complex, as well as an entertainment programme in summer. At three beach entry points there are rooftop snack bars with toilets at ground level and walkways leading down to the water’s edge.

Although the site contains all that is needed to spend a comfortable holiday including one restaurant where full and half board meals are available and another specialising in fish, there is no doubt that the soft gently shelving, 8 km. long sandy beach is the big attraction. During our stay the spotless beach was cleaned on a daily basis and an early morning stroll along the waters edge with the sun climbing over the distant horizon can be thoroughly recommended. For contrast an evenings visit to the lively main street and piazzas of nearby Pineta should not be missed.

There are 14 sanitary blocks of varying standards with free hot water. Accessible facilities for campers in eight units. Washing machines and dryers. Motorhome services. Large supermarket. Shop, two restaurants, bar and takeaway (all open all season). Beach snack bars. Swimming pool complex (all season) with hot whirlpool and slides. Wellness Area with Kneipp Parcour, Whirpool, Baby Pool, Sauna, Turkish Bath. Gym. Tennis. Direct access to the beach. Play areas. Entertainment programme and activities for children in summer. Mobile homes to rent. WiFi throughout (charged).

Directions to Camping Pino Mare

Site is 60 km. west of Trieste on the southwestern tip of the Lignano peninsula. Leave A4 at exit for and head south through Latisana to Lignano on the 354. Then follow signs for Sabbiadoro, Lignano Riviera. Site is well signed in the town.
