This extensive site is very well planned in that just 60% of the 127 hectares is used for the pitches, resulting in lots of open space around the pitch area. It is the largest of the Istraturist group of sites. Of the 2,000 plus pitches, 1,700 are for touring units, all with 10A electricity. Some pitches have shade. There are also around 750 mobile homes, some of which are available to rent.
Some noise is transmitted from the road alongside the site. The site is very popular with Dutch campers, and a friendly and happy atmosphere prevails, even during the busiest times. The very long curved beach is of rock and shingle with grassy sunbathing areas. There are many watersports on offer, and the swimming pool complex has four pools, cascades and fountains.
Several of the restaurant/bars offer excellent views over the sea and are most attractive for a romantic dinner. The ancient towns of Umag and Novigrad are close and served by buses for those who wish to explore their fascinating past. The supporting entertainment and other events, including sporting facilities, combined with good value-for-money, make this an excellent choice for your camping holiday.
