This quiet countryside site, spread over 20 hectares, is situated close to the French and Luxembourg borders. With 980 pitches (600 for touring units), the site is constructed with 29 circular grassed areas, each surrounded by trees and containing no more than 25 pitches. This creates the impression that you are staying on a small site, although you do have the facilities provided by a larger one. A spacious central meadow opposite a lake is used for caravans and tents and is separated from a playing field by a tree-lined stream. This is a quiet and relatively unknown corner of Germany.

The Saar-Hunsrück nature park has a great deal to offer those enjoy rambling or cycling in a peaceful environment, yet at the same time like easy access to a large and varied range of holiday activities. Being only 4 km. from the autobahn, it is an idea location from which to visit France or Luxembourg. To the north is Trier, Germanys oldest town, and a few kilometres to the east is Idar Oberstein, Germany’s precious stone centre.

Directions to Camping Park Reinsfield

Site is 20 km. southeast of Trier. Leave A1 at exit 132 (Reinsfeld) and follow sign for Reinsfeld. Continue through village and site is signed on the left just before leaving village.
