This family run site is most attractively situated on an estate beside a large lake. Fishing, swimming and boating are popular activities. There are 300 large, grassy pitches, all with electricity and water, of which 150 are used for touring units. Pitches for tents or caravans are in separate areas. A small hotel forms part of the site amenities, where meals and snacks are served all day in high season (including breakfast). In addition, the restaurant serves good food. This is a pleasant site with a range of amenities including swimming and paddling pools, tennis courts and facilities for various other sports. Bungalow tents, camping barrels and apartments are available to rent.

Bicycles may be hired to explore the local area, and the wild animal park at Potzberg is nearby where one can see falcons and animals in their natural habitats.

From A6 (Kaiserslautern-Saarbrücken) take exit 9 for Homburg-Schönenberg, or coming the other way, exit for Hochmühlbach-Miesau. Follow signs to Schönenberg and site.
