Castillon de Provence is a large site, 1000 m., up in the heart of the Alpes de Haute Provence. There are 150 touring pitches of 100 sq.m. or greater, most with 6A electricity, though long electrical cables and levelling blocks are required. There are also 40 mobile homes, chalets and tents to rent, all with lake and mountain views. The bar and restaurant with a terrace and swimming pool have spectacular views of the mountains. Sports, games and activities are organised for all ages, while adventure activities, including hang-gliding and white-water rafting, are nearby. The road to the site is narrow, with some sharp bends.

The historic town of Castellane (10 km) has an interesting selection of restaurants, cafés, shops, and supermarkets. An attractive lake beach is a 25-minute walk from the site, and watersports and other energetic pursuits are available nearby; the owners will help to arrange these for you.

Directions to Castillon de Provence

The site is northwest of Grasse. From Castellane take the D955 north towards St. André-les-Alpes. After 3.5 km. turn left on D402 to La Baume. Going out of La Baume take the road to the right. The campsite is 1300 m. NB: due to narrow access road, no arrivals before 14.00, all departures by 12.00.
