Alan Rogers Review of Camping Municipal du Mas
This site is located a few hundred metres from exit 12 (Issoire) on the A75 autoroute – there could be some road noise, but it was not intrusive when we visited in late June. The very spacious site is on fairly level grass, with most of the 149 pitches arranged in bays of two or three. Most are fully serviced and have some shade. A useful grassy area beside a lake is immediately opposite the site for sunbathing or picnicking under the trees. The lake is used for fishing (no swimming allowed). This is a good base for touring the Auvergne region.
Facilities at Camping Municipal du Mas
Sanitary facilities in two blocks, one heated in cool weather, are quite adequate with some squat style WCs and some washbasins in cabins. Two washing machines. One block may be closed in low season. Motorhome service point. General room with TV and cold drinks machine. Play area. Boules pitch.

Take exit 12 from the A75 towards Orbeil. At roundabout take first exit (site signed) and site is a few hundred metres.
