Mare Monti is a neat and tidy site set high in the hills with spectacular views overlooking the small town of Sestri Levante. The owner and his staff are relaxed and very friendly. The site has around 150 pitches, 50 of which are for touring with 6A electricity, all set on terraces. The remaining pitches are taken by seasonal units, and there are also a number of mobile homes for rental.

A small shop and a bar with its impressive terrace and wonderful views overlook a neat swimming pool. Access to the site and within is difficult and the site is therefore more suitable for smaller units. The rural location, together with good facilities offers a quiet and relaxing atmosphere for your stay. We would not recommend this site for disabled visitors.

The owners speak very good English and have spent much time and effort to ensure your stay will be enjoyable. There are many charming restaurants and shops in Sestri Levante, 2 km. away, along with many other tourist attractions. The site provides a free minibus link to the town in high season.

Facilities

Two refurbished toilet blocks are modern, bright and spotlessly clean. British and squat style WCs. Hot showers. Accessible facilities, Washing machine and dryer. Small shop, bar with takeaway (April-Oct). Outdoor swimming pool with separate pool for children (June-Oct). Volleyball. Communal barbecues. Minibus to town (July/Aug). English is spoken. WiFi on part of site (free).

Location

From autostrada A12 take exit for Sestri Levante. Follow road SP1 in an easterly direction to km. 469. Site entrance is on the left set back from road and difficult to see. The road is steep in places and winding. It is not suitable for large units.
