Alan Rogers Review of Camping Lacus
Camping Lacus is located on the popular Costa Brava around a natural lake surrounded by forest which provides plentiful shade to all of the pitches. The site has 450 spacious pitches which are mostly on grass. The actual location of Camping Maite is urban, but due to its unique setting it feels very much like a quiet oasis in the middle of the town of L'Escala. The lively beach of Riells, which is great for families due to the numerous activities on and off the water, is just 100 hundred metres away. Here you can also enjoy the beautiful views of the Gulf of Roses on its multiple terraces. A few metres from the site there are many restaurants, shops and leisure areas. Camping Maite is very much a family campsite that allows you to be close to nature without giving up the comforts of an urban location, and due to the recent investment by new owners, the site facilities are being continually improved.
An on-site restaurant-bar is open all day, and an entertainment team is available to organise leisure, sports, cultural and artistic activities. The site also allows sport fishing in its natural lake.

Four sanitary blocks - two with showers, dishwasher, washing machine and WC, and two with dishwasher, washing machine and WC. Accessible facilities, Bar. Restaurant and takeaway. Entertainment team to organise sporting and recreational activities. Private lake for sport fishing.
