The Blue Flag beach shelves gently into the crystal clear sea, making it an ideal spot for campers of all ages who enjoy pottering about in the shallows. Lo Scoglio would suit couples looking for a base for exploring the north coast of Sicily and for families with older children.

The campsite has a thoroughly relaxed atmosphere, even in high season, with a conscious decision not to offer organised entertainment or discos. The campsite has the necessary facilities for a relaxing beach holiday, which is sufficient for most guests who come for rest and relaxation. That said, there are plenty of off-site excursions, with the site providing transport to the nearby railway station. Day trips to colourful Palermo and the ancient town of Cefalu are popular. Lovers of nature enjoy visiting the Tiberio Gorges, located 16 kilometres from Camping Lo Scoglio.

Directions to Camping Lo Scoglio

Site is approx. 2 km. west of Castel di Tusa. On SS113 in Castel di Tusa, look for yellow site sign by pharmacy. Follow winding coastal road and look right for yellow site sign and (steep, narrow) entry road at end of metal barriers, as road curves to left.
