Les Tailladis is a well situated, mature 4.5-hectare campsite set in 17 hectares of woodland, and owned by the same Dutch and French family since 1964. It is about 12 km. from Sarlat, Eyzies and Montignac-Lascauax, and 35 km. from Souillac. There are 78 medium to large pitches which are grassy, terraced and partially shaded with electricity (10A, some Europlugs) and water points close by.

Reception was very friendly, and this was linked to a well stocked shop, bar, restaurant and entertainment area and the swimming pool. English was one of several languages spoken. Bread and croissants are made on site daily by Yuri, the young owner, who also organises weekly excursions to places of interest. A picnic is provided and on return a meal and social get-together is held in the bar and terrace area.

Tracks into the woodlands lead directly from site. Maps are sold in reception for way-marked walking routes and mountain bike trails. The facilities are clean and well maintained, the site aim’s more for offering visitors a peaceful relaxing break.

Access to the site is tight but should not cause too many problems for most outfits and help is on hand from reception to assist in guiding you through to your chosen pitch.

One heated sanitary block is well sited for all pitches. En-suite accessible unit. Baby bath and changing area. Laundry room. Motorhome services. Large shop (fresh bread and milk to order). Restaurant, bar. Swimming pool and paddling pool. Play area with trampoline. Library with 2 computers. Activities organised during high season. WiFi in bar area (charged). Fishing. Accommodation for rent. Pets allowed.

Directions to Camping les Tailladis

From Sarlat-la-Canéda, take D704 heading north. After 10 km. look for signs on left for Marcella-St Quentin. Take this road heading northwest, and site is less than 3 km. after Marcella-St Quentin on left. Access and site roads are narrow for large units.
