Les Plans is an attractive family site on the edge of the magnificent Cévennes National Park. The site is located on the banks of the River Gardon, between Saint Jean-du-Gard and Anduze. There is a private beach beside the river and a good range of other amenities, including two swimming pools (one with water slides). The 300 pitches, 245 for touring, are large (around 100 sq.m) and well shaded. All touring pitches have electricity (3/6/10A). The restaurant is located in an 18th-century farm building and incorporates a pizzeria with a wood-fired oven.

Various activities are organised in peak season, including a popular children’s club and numerous sports tournaments and games. Evening entertainment includes music, cabaret and Brazilian themed evenings, with sports events transmitted on a large screen TV. Off site, there are some wonderful walks and the site owners will be pleased to recommend possible routes. Mediterranean beaches can be reached for day trips, and the great Roman city of Nîmes is worth visiting.

Four sanitary blocks (1 large new one) have washbasins in cabins and accessible facilities. Washing machine. Supermarket (15/6-30/8). Restaurant, pizzeria and takeaway (all 1/5-3/9). Swimming pools with water slide (1/6-30/9). Fitness area. Play area. Minigolf. Activity and entertainment programme. Private river beach. Fishing. WiFi over site (charged). Fully equipped mobile homes to rent.

Directions to Camping les Plans

The site is located north of Anduze. Approaching from there, use D129 as far as Géneragues, and then take westbound D50 to Mialet. The site is 3 km. after village on the banks of the river and is well signed.
