Camping Les Plages de l'Ain is a small site in a wooded area some 30 km from Lyon on the banks of the river l'Ain. It is a good base for walking and cycling trips or excursions in the area, such as Lyon or the medieval town of Pérouges. The site has 90 grass pitches, of which 50 are for touring units, a 10-amp hook-up point, 20 seasonal pitches, and 20 mobile homes. Bungalow tents or coco tents are available to hire. Numerous trees ensure shaded pitches, but for sun lovers, there are also sunny ones. The pitches for tents are slightly smaller.

The river l'Ain can be reached directly from the site. Fishing and swimming are allowed in the river. Canoeing and kayaking trips are also organised during the summer months. The friendly owner regularly organises activities during July and August, such as live music or barbecues. The entertainment team, composed of a horse riding expert, an animal specialist and an adventurer, offers you several activities every week. Horse-drawn carriage rides are available on the 4 hectares of the campsite, adventure games and laser tag games in the middle of nature…and plenty of activities are held in the swimming pool.

Directions to Camping Les Plages de l'Ain

A42/E611 take exit 7 Pérouges/Meximieux. At the roundabout after the toll booth turn right to join D65B in the direction of Saint-Maurice-de- Gourdans. At Saint-Maurice-de-Gourdons turn right onto the D84 and follow signs to Stade and the site.
