Les Pêcheurs will appeal to families who appreciate natural surroundings with many activities, cultural and sporting. Interspersed with mobile homes and cabins, the 110 good sized touring pitches (10A electricity) are separated by trees and flowering bushes. The Provençal-style buildings are delightful, especially the bar, restaurant and games room with its terrace down to the river and the site’s own canoe station (locked gate). Across the road is a lake with a sandy beach and restaurant. Enlarged spa facilities include a swimming pool, a large jacuzzi, massage, a steam pool and a sauna (some charges apply).
Developed over three generations by the Simoncini family, this peaceful, friendly site is set in more than four hectares of mature, well shaded countryside at the foot of the Roquebrune Rock. Activities include climbing the Rock with a guide, trips to Monte Carlo, Ventimiglia (Italy) and the Gorges du Verdon, etc. The medieval village of Roquebrune is within walking distance.
