Sunelia La Presqu'île is in the mountains of the Hautes-Alpes, in the south of France. A beautiful road through the Alps leads you to the small mountain village of Prunières. Continue a little further, and you will see the site. It is situated in a beautiful location on a peninsula on the shores of Lake Serre Ponçon, one of the largest artificial lakes in Europe.

The view from the site is simply breath-taking. The pitches are all on terraces so you have a view of the mountains around you and the lake. The most pleasant pitches are at the water's edge. The site has 260 grass /hardstanding pitches, of which 228 are for touring units and have a 6-amp hook-up point. There are also 32 bungalows available to hire.

There are plenty of activities to keep guests entertained at Sûnelia La Presqu'île. There's a swimming pool with a toddler pool, a multisport pitch and table tennis, which the older children can enjoy a game or two. The campsite also has a kids' club for children aged 4-12 years old. The club runs various daily activities, including arts and crafts, games and sports. The campsite also has an onsite restaurant with a terrace overlooking the lake. The restaurant serves various dishes, including pizzas, pasta dishes, salads and grilled meats.

You can take advantage of the campsite's private beach too, here the beach has been separated into three sections so all campsite guests can enjoy the water. Here, you will find a boat ramp and mooring area for boats, a space dedicated to water sports enthusiasts so you can safely leave the site windsurfing. There is also a dedicated swimming area with a grassy beach to relax and enjoy the water.
