Les Mimosas is quite a large site with 400 pitches – 200 for touring units, the remainder for mobile homes – in a rural situation. The level, grassy pitches are of average size, separated and numbered in regular avenues, all with 6A electricity (long leads may be required), some have good shade, others have less. The pool area, a real feature of the site, includes a most impressive wave pool, various toboggans, the ‘Space Hole’ water slide, a large swimming pool and a super paddling pool (nine pools in all) with lots of free sun beds. This is a friendly, family run site with families in mind, with something new for each year.

Les Mimosas has a less hectic situation than sites closer to the beach. However, it is possible to walk to a lovely sandy beach (1.2 km). There is lots going on and many day trips and excursions are arranged all season, from canoeing to visiting castles. Portiragnes-Plage is about 2 km. away and can be reached by cycle tracks. The Canal du Midi runs along the edge of the site (no access), providing another easy cycle route.

Good, modern toilet blocks include baby rooms, children’s toilets, Accessible facilities (whole site wheelchair friendly). En-suite facilities on payment. Washing machines and dryers. Motorhome services. Fridge hire. Large well stocked shop. Bar, restaurant and takeaway. Swimming pool complex (lifeguards all season). Good play area. Miniclub (4-8 yrs). Creative crafts, Boules. New gym with sauna, games room, beauty salon and massage. Multisports court. Bicycle hire. Games/TV room. Variety of evening entertainment. WiFi throughout (charged). Communal barbecue (only gas and electric permitted on pitches).

Directions to Camping les Mimosas

From A9 exit 35 (Béziers Est) take N112 south towards Sérignan (1 km). Large roundabout follow signs for Cap d’Agde, watch carefully for D37, Portiragnes (1-2 km), follow signs for Portiragnes-Plage. Site well signed before Portiragnes-Plage (5 km).
