Alan Rogers Review
Les Lauriers Roses is an attractive, small site with up-to-date facilities and the emphasis on comfort and relaxation. Steeply terraced over two hectares with views of the Mediterranean, it is owned by a friendly Dutch family who will personally site caravans on some of the more challenging areas of the site. There are 83 pitches (67 for touring units with 6A electricity) of a good size, the majority set out on individual terraces. Units over 7.5 m. and twin-axle caravans are not accepted. Good English is spoken. A peaceful, comfortable site, there is a large, heated outdoor swimming pool with an adjoining bar and restaurant area.
The restaurant offers a good selection of meals including Indonesian dishes. In high season limited sports, games and activities are organised for both young and old. There is a safe play area for children. Situated a few minutes from sandy beaches, the site has panoramic views over the bay of Fréjus and Saint Raphaël and the Esterel mountains. The local town of Saint Aygulf is a lively resort town offering good shops, restaurants and attractions. The nearest supermarket is 250 m. away. Reception is closed 12.30-15.00 and the owners strictly observe these times.
