This pretty site is located close to the spa town of Digne-les-Bains, famous for its hot springs. There are 140 pitches, of which 85 are available for tourers (other pitches are occupied by mobile homes, mostly available to rent). Pitches here are of a good size and all have electricity (4, 6 or 10A). This is a lively site in high season with a regular children’s club and a diverse programme of activities, including aqua aerobics, water polo and dance evenings. Amenities here include a covered pool, shop and bar/snack bar, which also offers a breakfast service in high season.

A free shuttle bus links the site with Digne-les-Bains. This is a pretty town and an important thermal resort, dating back to Roman times. It is also France’s lavender capital and boasts a colouful annual lavender festival (Corso de la lavande) every August. This is great mountain biking country with miles of excellent waymarked trails close at hand (maps available in reception).

Directions to Camping les Eaux Chaudes

Approaching from the south (A51 motorway) take the exit for Digne-les-Bains. Continue to Digne on N85 (Route Napoleon) and then follow signs to site on D19. The site can be found to the south of the town, and is well signposted.
