You will find a warm welcome at this small, family-run site. It has been carved out of the rocky hillside and has wonderful views over the beautiful Drôme Provençale and the mountains beyond. The whole site is dotted with lavender plants growing between the shrubs and mature trees. There are 88 fully serviced locations including 46 touring pitches, all with 10A electricity. An area for motorhomes near the entrance has easy access. This site is ideal for discovering the historic towns and villages of the Drôme Provençale by car, bike and on foot. A lovely infinity pool has been built, with a superb view of the valley and mountains in the distance. Good, reasonably priced meals are available in the bar/restaurant, whose terrace also enjoys the beautiful views.
The village of Marsanne is 1.8km away. It is part of the villages typical of the Provençal Drôme. It is very lively in the summer and there are hotels, restaurants and shops.
Facilities at Camping les Bastets
The site has two sanitary blocks (one of which was recently built), modern and well equipped with accessible facilities. Washing machine. Heated outdoor swimming pool (all season). Very large playground. Multi sport ground: football, basketball, handball. Petanque. Evening entertainment. Picnic area. Store. Bar. Restaurant open from May to September. Library all languages. Games room. Free Wi-Fi at the bar, charged elsewhere on the campsite. Rental of chalets, mobile homes and lodge tents. No charcoal barbecue accepted on the sites; large free charcoal barbecue area.
Directions to Camping les Bastets
Take exit 17, Montelimar North. Continue on N7 towards La Coucourde. When you arrive in La Coucourde turn left towards Sauzet (D74). At the crossroads, go straight on, following the D74. Bypass the city of Sauzet and take the direction to Marsanne (D105). Drive through Marsanne and follow the D105. After Marsanne, take the 2nd right, signposted Camping Les Bastets.
