Situated at the heart of the Ile de Ré, le Village Suroit is a well maintained, high quality site 600 m. from a long, sandy beach. It has 257 pitches, but just 24 for touring units, all with 5A Europlug electricity. They are mainly sandy and a little uneven in places, and half are shaded by tall pine trees. There is a pleasant outdoor heated swimming pool with solarium. Several communal charcoal barbecue areas are provided, as only gas ones are permitted on the pitches. There are numerous places of interest to visit on the island, including the picturesque port at nearby Saint Martin.

A single sanitary block has hot showers and washbasins in cubicles. Accessible facilities. Washing machine. Shop. Bread to order. Bar with TV. Restaurant and takeaway. Heated swimming pool (15/6-15/9). Children's pool area, Play area (2-12 yrs). Games room. Boules. Minigolf. Entertainment for adults and children (July/Aug). Bicycle hire. WiFi over site (charged). Communal barbecue areas.

Directions to Camping le Village du Suroit

From A10 (direction Bordeaux) take exit 33 for La Rochelle. At La Rochelle take N237 to Ile de Ré. After crossing bridge, at roundabout take 3rd exit onto D201. Continue to Le Bois-Plage-en-Ré, take 3rd exit and site is on left (signed).
