Camping le Solitaire du Lac is on the shores of Lake Annecy. Here you can enjoy relaxed holiday without the bells and whistles. You can walk straight to the lake, whose water is lovely and warm in the summer. Boating, surfing, water skiing, cycling or mountaineering are all a possibility, as is a small grassy beach between the reeds. By bike, bus or boat, you can easily reach the charming town of Annecy. Be sure to bring your own air mattress, inflatable toy, surfboard or boat to endlessly float, paddle or surf. In the summer, the water temperature in Lake Annecy is easily 26 degrees, so that makes for pleasant swimming. At the site, you can rent bikes, kayaks and surf boards. A boat trip on the lake is also recommended. To make the most of the views and location take the 40km cycle route around the lake. Most of it is on a dedicated cycle path but go around clockwise unless you want to do the very steep climb on the far side of the lake. The site has 170 grass touring pitches with 5/6-amp hook-up point and 30 mobile homes or chalets available to hire.

Directions to Camping le Solitaire du Lac

From the A41/E712 at junction 16 join the D3058 Route D1508. Continue on this road to a roundabout junction with the D2201 and join it and at another roundabout turn right to join the D5C. At the next roundabout take the last exit. Now keep ahead through 2 further roundabouts and at the second turn left to join the D41. At another roundabout turn right onto the D1508 and stay on this road. Just before you reach Saint Jorioz, turn left towards the lake on Route de Sales. Follow the site signs.
