Alan Rogers Review
Camping le Renom is an attractive, well maintained municipal site close to the picturesque village of Vonnas, bordered by an unfenced river. It is listed as a Station Verte de Vacances and was chosen as the first gastronomy town of France, thanks to the local chef, Georges Blanc. There are 80 pitches (69 for touring), 64 with 10A electricity. The pitches are level and spacious and are separated by neat beech hedges, with a variety of mature trees giving some shade. Most are grass but nine have hardstanding for motorhomes. This quiet campsite is ideal for those prepared to make their own entertainment.
The site is situated at the confluence of two rivers: la Veyle and le Renom. There are many opportunities for hiking, mountain biking and river fishing in the area. This site is a good choice for lovers of outdoor activities and those wishing to taste the local gastronomic dishes and wines.

Three toilet blocks have showers and washbasins in cubicles, facilities for children and disabled visitors. Washing machine and dryer. Motorhome services. Bar (1/6-31/8). Playground. Boules. Tennis. Football. Basketball. River fishing. No twin-axle caravans. Free WiFi.
