This small campsite is situated on the wine route between Baume and Cluny and close to the long cycle route through the Burgundy vineyards. This well run, family site offers an ‘away from it all’ location and it will appeal to those seeking a quiet, relaxing environment in a garden-like setting. There are 64 small to average-sized, level, grassy pitches, with 50 for touring (6A electricity; long leads may be required). Most pitches are well shaded by a wide variety of mature trees making access for tall outfits quite difficult. No twin-axle caravans or large outfits accepted.

Flower arrangements are in abundance and, like the shrubs and grounds, are constantly being attended. Beyond the stream that borders the site are a covered swimming pool (can be opened in hot weather), patio and a restaurant/pizzeria (also open to the public all year). There are two small lakes, one for fishing and another, 1.8 m. deep, created for leisure activities. Surrounding the lake is a large grassy sunbathing area with views over the surrounding hills.

Well kept toilet facilities housed in a converted barn. Accessible facilities, Washing machine and dryer. Freezer for campers’ use. Bread each morning. Basic shop (1/5-30/9). Restaurant/pizzeria, snack bar (all season). Games room. Swimming pool, covered but some walls can be opened in good weather (all season). Playgrounds. Bouncy castle. Bicycle hire. Fishing. Pony trekking. Free WiFi over part of site.

Directions to Camping le Moulin de Collonge

From Chalon-sur-Saône, take N80 west 9 km. Turn south on D981 through Buxy (6 km). Continue south to St Boil 7 km. and site is signed at south end of the village.
