Alan Rogers Review of Camping le Logis

Le Logis is a member of the Yukadi Villages group and is a popular site, close to the attractive resort of Saint Palais-sur-Mer, on the edge of the forest of Saint Augustin. The site was established back in 1936 and there are now 647 pitches here. The majority of these are occupied by mobile homes and chalets (many for rent) but there are 208 touring pitches also available. These are grassy and of a reasonable size, and all have 5A electrical connections. This is a lively site in high season with a varied programme of entertainment and activities, including concerts and discovery excursions into the forest.

Several children’s clubs are organised to appeal to different age groups, including La Petite Maison for 4 and 5 year olds and Mini Yukadi for 6 to 9 year olds. Saint Palais is quite a stylish resort and is in contrast with the larger resort of Royan which has a much more modern feel.

Four heated sanitary blocks are well situated around the site. Accessible facilities, Laundry. Shop, bar and snack bar (all season). Excellent water park with heated pools, children’s pool and water slides. Games room. Tennis. Play area. TV room. New multisports area. Bicycle hire. Activity and entertainment programme. Mobile homes and chalets for rent. WiFi in some areas (free).

Directions to Camping le Logis

From Royan, head west on D25 towards La Palmyre. Pass the golf course (on the right), and then turn left immediately towards St Palais-sur-Mer. Turn left at the next crossroads and site is 200 m. further on the right.
