Set a little bit back from the seafront, La Massane is one of the traditional older sites with good views of the Canigou, and a heated pool open for a longer season. With 184 pitches and only 30 taken by mobile homes, it could make a good, quiet and relaxing choice. In July and August, it will be a little more hectic (as is the whole resort) with a bar and some family entertainment. Other amenities are within walking distance. Pitches are divided, level and semi-grassed with a mixture of shade from tall trees or shrubs. Electricity (6/10A) is available. There is an outside adult exercise area with various equipment.

Argelès is a popular holiday centre with a busy area near the seafront and a traditional Catalan village centre further back. It is possible to walk or cycle to the beach or town from the site, but from the end of June until mid September a train bus operates a circular service along the front, to the village and back.

Facilities

Two toilet blocks, one large and modernised with a baby room and accessible facilities. A smaller, traditional block is used early in the season. Laundry room. Fresh bread. Shop, bar, takeaway and entertainment (July/Aug). Swimming pool (heated 15/4-30/9) with paddling pool. Play area. Miniclub (6-12 yrs). Minigolf. Charcoal barbecues are not permitted. WiFi around reception (free). Adult exercise/games area.

Location

From the A9 take exit 42 (Perpignan Sud) and follow N114 for Argelès to exit 10.for Pujols. At first roundabout take Centre Plage. Pass school on left and site is almost immediately on left.
