Camping Le Clupeau is a family campsite situated near the village of Cherveix-Cubas in the Dordogne region of France. The river Auvézère with its reservoir and old mill runs alongside the campsite. There are 33 touring pitches with electric hook-up points available (10Amp). The pitches are delimited by mature hedging, and mature trees offer shade during the summer. Almost half of the pitches can be found along the river, giving great views of the water.

The campsite beach offers gradual access to the river, allowing younger campers to paddle freely in the water. Older children will enjoy swimming in the deeper waters and swinging on the rope swings that overhang the river. The campsite also offers kayak and stand-up paddle board rentals, allowing you to explore the surrounding area via the water. There are also many peaceful spots along the river for those who wish to do a spot of fishing. The campsite restaurant with a terrace overlooks the river. Here you can enjoy a small meal and a refreshing drink whilst watching everyone enjoy the activities available on the water. During the summer, every Friday, the campsite organises a BBQ evening for all to enjoy. For those that prefer dry land, there are plenty of activities to enjoy such as a children's playground, Football pitch, table tennis and petanque area. various equipment is available from reception.

The Dordogne is home to many historical sites, including castles, medieval towns, and prehistoric caves. Some popular attractions near Cherveix-Cubas include the Château de Hautefort, an impressive 17th-century castle located just 4 km away. The castle is open for tours and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
