Le Chatelet is a 3.5-acre site nestling in the Alps and close to the shore of Lake Geneva. This is an ideal location for visitors who enjoy water-based activities and sports, in addition to discovering the wealth of local culture. Close to the small town of Sciez, the site is just a five minute walk away from the beach and the marina. There are 147 flat, grassy pitches (95 sq.m. on average), 44 for touring units, the remainder occupied by 12 chalets to rent and 86 residential mobile homes. All have 10A electricity. The site owner works hard to maintain high ecological standards, for example with solar heating and waste recycling initiatives.

If you appreciate mountain landscapes, a half-hour drive will bring you to green pastures, or the outskirts of the nearest ski resorts. Switzerland is easily accessible by car, bus, train or boat.

The two toilet blocks are modern and well maintained with facilities for children and accessible facilities. Washing machine and dryer. Motorhome services. Gas. Adventure playground (3-12 yrs). Directions to Camping le Chatelet

From Thonon-les-Bains, follow signs for Geneva and join D1005. In four-lane section (ave de Bonnatrait) take slip road on right signed Renouillere, le Lac then turn left onto Chemin des Viex Hutins. Site is on right in 300 m.
