Cayeux-sur-Mer is a pretty resort to the south of the vast Baie de Somme. Le Bois de Pins is a quiet family site, close to the shore and open for a long season. The site can be found in the small village of Brighton, just outside the resort. There are 155 grassy pitches, 58 for touring, all of which have 6/10A electrical connections. Some pitches are occupied by mobile homes and chalets. On-site amenities include a small shop and play area for young children. Cayeux is a lively resort with a wide variety of watersports available, as well as a good golf course and tennis courts.

Saint Valéry-sur-Somme, a little to the north, has retained its delightful mediaeval character and has a fine Gothic church. There is much else of interest in the area, including the world famous Marquenterre bird reserve, to the north of the Somme bay. The site’s friendly owners will be pleased to recommend possible day trips, and also walking and cycling routes.

Three dated toilet blocks, in need of modernisation, include showers and washbasins in cabins. Accessible Facilities in reception building. Laundry facilities. Small shop for basics (1/4-1/11). Motorhome services. Games room. Multisport pith, Table tennis, Boules. Small play area. WiFi over site (charged).

Directions to Camping le Bois de Pins

Leave the A16 autoroute at exit 24 and follow signs to St Valéry-sur-Somme on the D32 and D940. Shortly beyond St Valéry, join the D3 towards Cayeux-sur-Mer and, upon arrival at Brighton, the site is well signed.
