Alan Rogers Review of Camping Lavanda
Located at the foot of St. Elijah mountain Camping Lavanda opened in June 2017 after being lovingly created over a period of 5 years. Originally a wine farm, this delightful campsite is set minutes from the small town of Orebić on Croatia's Pelješac peninsula. The campsite enjoys breathtaking views of the surrounding coast and overlooks the stunning clear blue sea. The site is conveniently located just 2 hours drive from Dubrovnik, it's also a beautiful drive from Split (further north) where you will briefly cross the Bosnian border.
Enjoy one of the 70 large pitches or a luxury mobile home on the terraced landscaped ground, or pitch your own tent on one of the 5 specially created hard level pitches occupying their own area. All caravan and camper pitches are from 60 to 110m2 with electricity and water. After relaxing on one of the 3 beaches (family, naturist or dog friendly), you can enjoy fine Mediterranean cuisine in the à la carte restaurant & beach bar.
Pelješac has a rich ancient history and maritime tradition, today it is popular for its wine, with many vineyards open to visitors. This campsite truely does have panoramic views to die for and the most spectacular sunset over the Korčula and Mljet islands.
Facilities at Camping Lavanda
Two exceptionally clean sanitary blocks are equipped with showers, private washing cubicles, facilities for babies and children and accessible sanitary facilities. Washing machines and dryers. Bar, restaurant and takeaway. 3 Beaches (main/family, dog friendly and naturist/FKK). Internet access WiFi (free of charge). Plan for outdoor swimming pool in 2018/19.

Directions to Camping Lavanda
Although the site is situated at the very end of southern Croatia, except for the lack of the motorway, the traffic connections of Pelješac are very easy. If you travel by car or camper and come from the north you will probably choose various routes to Ploče. There you can relax and decide whether to take the ferry toTrpanj or the road via Neum to Ston and Orebić.
