Camping Lac de Thoux Saint-Cricq in the Gers Gascogne region is a mature, family run site set alongside a 70-hectare lake with lots of watersports on offer. The site is well shaded by mature trees in most parts and provides 182 pitches with 93 available for touring units, the remainder taken up with mobile homes and chalets to rent. All the touring pitches are grass and slope slightly towards the lake. All have 10A electricity. There is an attractive, new water park complex adjacent to the site which includes a large bar area, a lakeside sandy beach and a play area with free access to campers.
An independantly run sailing club operates within the site and offers tuition as well as boat, canoe and windsurfer hire. The lake is accessible from the campsite to fish for carp, pike and perch. Boats can be hired for fishing (permit necessary). Laurence, the campsite owner and a qualified therapist, offers a range of massage treatments in a tranquil setting for a fee. Toulouse is only 50 km. away, so the site is a good base for visiting Space City and the very popular Airbus sites.

One sanitary block provides all necessary facilities including a baby room and an en-suite accessible unit. Laundry facilities. Motorhome services. Shop (1/5-20/9). Bar (4/6-4/9). Snack bar and takeaway (4/6-4/9). Water park (4/6-4/9). Play area. Trampoline and multisport court. Boules. Lakeside beach (supervised July/Aug). WiFi throughout (charged).

From Auch head east on N124 to Toulouse. At L’Isle-Jourdain take the D654 north towards Cologne. Site is on right after 11 km. and is signed.
