In a popular resort area and open all year, la Vieille Ferme is an oasis of calm. A family owned site with good facilities, it has 119 level, gravel based touring pitches, all with 2/10A electricity and 95 fully serviced. The majority are separated by hedges. Some are only small, simple pitches for little tents. There are special winter rates for long stays with quite a few long stay units on site during the winter. The entrance to the site is welcoming and very colourful with well tended flower beds. English is spoken at reception and the whole place has a very friendly feel to it. There are 15 km. of cycle paths linking the village to the coast, with some routes passing through a nature park. Bicycle hire can be arranged on site.
A one kilometre walk beside the road towards Antibes or a bus ride brings you to the railway station, giving access to all the towns along the coast and to the beach. Villeneuve-Loubet is a historic village with a castle and museums. Antibes, 4 km. away, has ramparts, a Napoleonic museum and a Picasso museum. Nice and Grasse are within easy reach and Monaco is a possibility for a day trip, as is a trip into Italy.
