This friendly, attractive site with a heated outdoor pool is just four kilometres from Dieppe and is useful for those using the Newhaven-Dieppe ferry crossing, either as a one night stopover or for a few days break before heading on. The 120 pitches (70 for touring) are flat and there is some shade. Electricity (10A) is available to all. There are good hardstandings for motorhomes but other pitches may suffer after heavy rain. The site is quietly located in a valley with the only disturbance from the occasional passing train. A fast flowing small river runs along one border (not protected for young children). The welcoming owners live on site and will do anything they can to assist their guests.

The site is well lit and stays open for late night ferries, although such arrivals are fairly rare and disturbance is minimal. It is often used for cycling groups, charity events and touring motorhome groups. Trout fishing is possible in the river.

Facilities at Camping la Source

One large, heated toilet block is clean and includes washbasins in cubicles, good sized showers. Baby room. Accessible unit, but the unmade gravel roads may cause problems especially for wheelchair users. Laundry facilities. Motorhome services. Small bar and terrace. Heated swimming pool (15/5-15/9). Playing field. TV and games rooms. Fishing. Bicycle hire. Six mobile homes to rent. WiFi throughout (charged).

Directions to Camping la Source

From Dieppe follow D925 west towards Fécamp. At foot of descent at traffic lights in Petit Appeville turn left. From west, turn right (signed D153 St Aubin). Just after railway, turn left under bridge (3.5 m) and straight ahead on narrow unmade road (limited passing places). Site is shortly on left.
