This site is situated beside what is said to be the largest man-made inland lake in Europe (4,800 ha.), the Lac du Der Chantecoq. This provides superb facilities for windsurfing, sailing, etc. and even for swimming from a 100 m. beach alongside the site (lifeguard in main season). The site itself is situated on the shores of the lake, with most pitches occupied by mobile homes and chalets. There are 60 fairly level, grassy touring pitches at the centre of the site. These are of a good size, all have French 2-pin electrical connections (7A), some with hardstanding. They are separated by hedges and trees that also provide a fair amount of shade. The general appearance and the views across the lake from the restaurant are very attractive.

The site remains open until mid November and birdwatching enthusiasts will enjoy the spectacular sight of the migration of cranes and other birds during the autumn.

From St Dizier, take D384 past Eclaron and on to Braucourt and on entering take the first on the right opposite the restaurant and go all the way down the road till nearly the end of the peninsula.
