A peaceful, traditional site in a rural, hilltop location above the River Adour, this site has 66 pitches and a fair number of permanent units. There are around 30 pitches for touring units, most on grass with some hardstandings for motorhomes, all with electricity hook-ups (10/16A). Urt is 17 km. from the sea and 35 km. from the Spanish border.
Facilities at Camping la Ferme de Mimizan
The sanitary facilities are fairly traditional with British style WCs, open washbasins and pushbutton hot showers. On the other side of the lane by the owners house, is reception and a small, good value restaurant. Open-air swimming pool. Playground.
Directions to Camping la Ferme de Mimizan
Urt is 20 km. east of Biarritz. From the north leave N10 at its junction with the A63, continue south on D12 for 25 km. until you cross the River Adour. Continue up the hill into Urt, through the town, and on the far side turn left on D123 (site is signed).
