Camping Kersiny-Plage is a small, quiet campsite close to the Pointe du Raz, at the western tip of Brittany. It has 80 grassy pitches on terraces and separated by thick hedges; 8A electricity connections are available. The modern reception building has a pleasant terrace next to a children’s play area. There is direct access to the sandy beach with rocky outcrops ideal for fishing. The owners’ aim is to provide a peaceful base for a relaxing holiday, so there are no leisure facilities or organised activities, and groups are not accepted. There is a maximum of two adults and three children per pitch.

Step outside the campsite, however, and there are numerous opportunities for those seeking exercise, including watersports, horse riding, walking, cycling, and golf; shops, bars and restaurants are in nearby Audierne and, further afield, in the port of Douarnenez and the historic city of Quimper. Outings could include a boat trip to the Ile de Sein, to the picturesque village of Pont-Croix and to the Pointe de Raz with its wild coastline.

Toilet block with free hot showers and modern fittings. Accessible Unit with WC and washbasin but site is unsuitable for wheelchair users. Washing machine and dryer in office. Motorhome service. Small play area. Free WiFi point. Wooden mobile homes for hire.

Plouhinec is 30 km. west of Quimper on the D784 east of Audierne. Site is south of the village on the rue de Kersiny and is signed.
