Easily accessed from the A2/E61 autocesta, this small, terraced, south facing site offers striking views of Slovenia’s highest mountains which form part of the adjoining Triglav National Park. Camping Kamne has a total of 60 grass pitches for touring, 40 of which have 6/10A electrical connections. Site roads are gravel and tarmac and plenty of trees provide good shade. Ana Voga, the owner, speaks excellent English. The area is a haven for walking and mountain biking with trails of all grades against a backdrop of waterfalls, fast-flowing mountain streams and forests.
Three valleys lead west into the mountains from Mojstrana, including the trail to the ascent of Triglav, at nearly 3,000 m. the highest point of the Julian Alps.
