Alan Rogers Review
Gasparina is of average size for this area and of reasonable quality, but a little away from the towns around the lake. It is in a peaceful location and has the feeling of being in the countryside. Reception is very efficient with separate check-in and check-out desks. As the site slopes gently towards the lake, levellers are needed in some parts. There are 363 grass touring pitches in back-to-back rows separated by gravel roads. Many trees and flowers adorn the site, with shade in most parts. The fenced and supervised busy swimming pools are separated from the restaurant terraces by a neat, well-clipped hedge. Loungers/umbrellas are hired by the day from Reception.
Just beyond the site fence are small lakeside beaches and a pleasant promenade. Boats can be launched here. Near reception are the supermarket, snack bar, games room and a bar/restaurant with three terraces and good prices.
One refurbished and one new toilet block have the usual facilities with warm water. Facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machines and dryer. Shop. Bar/restaurant with terrace. Swimming pool (15/5-20/9). Playground. Watersports. Entertainment in high season. Dogs and other pets are not accepted in rentals.
Leave A4 Milan-Venice motorway at exit for Peschiera, go north on east side of lake on the SS249 towards Lazise for entrance road on your left.Link to campsite location map on google
