You can be sure of a warm welcome from the Dutch owner at this small and well maintained rural site in this quiet unspoilt region of France. There are 68 good sized pitches with 60 for touring units, all with electricity (6/10A) and water. On level grass, the pitches are informally laid out with a variety of trees giving some shade to most. There is a small bar, restaurant with takeaway and a small paddling pool, all open for most of the season. This would make an ideal value-for-money site for those wishing to relax and unwind. For those seeking a little exercise the area has many marked walks and cycle routes.

The historic villages with their little museums are well worth exploring. The nearby Fontenoy-le-Château is on the canal that runs between the Moselle and Saône rivers, formerly a commercial route but now used by pleasure boats. Trips can be arranged from the site.

Location

Site is 35 km. southwest of Épinal. Leave Épinal going south on the D434. After 18 km, in Xertigny, turn southwest (D434) through Bains-les-Bains to Fontenoy-le-Château. In village turn south D40 (site signed) and site entrance is 2 km.
