Le Pré Morjal lies at the head of the Tarn Gorges with easy access, so would be ideal for large units with secondary transport to explore the spectacular gorges and the Cévennes National Park. The site is very welcoming and peaceful, with a good range of amenities but no organised activities, only live music once a week in high season. It offers a real sense of getting back to nature. There are 123 good sized, level, grassy pitches with 107 for touring. Most have shade and all have electrical connections (10A), long leads may be required for some.

Ispagnac lies at the eastern end of the Tarn gorges and Le Pré Morjal is close to the River Tarn. Canoeing trips are understandably popular, but many other sporting activities are also available, including walking, climbing and mountain biking. The site loans route descriptions free of charge and the staff are happy to advise on suitability.

Three adequate, heated toilet blocks with all necessary facilities including those for children and accessible facilities. Motorhome services. Bar (soft drinks only; all season). Heated outdoor swimming and paddling pools (15/6-1/9). Play area. Communal room with TV, library, pool table. Volleyball. Entertainment and activities (July/Aug). Gas and electric barbecues permitted. Communal barbecue. WiFi (free in bar area).

Location

Leave A75 autoroute, exit 39 (Le Monastier). Take N88 east to Balsièges (25 km). Then turn southeast on N106. After 26 km. turn east on D907 to Ispagnac. Site is well signed in village.
