Camping am Döbbertiner See is situated in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, a region with many beautiful forests and lakes. The site lies on the outskirts of the village of Dobbertin, on the banks of a beautiful lake. The village is mainly known for its abbey. Visitors to this region come here for the tranquillity and nature. Slightly north and north-west of the site is a lovely walking area with many lakes.The facilities on the site are not in contemporary style which only enhances the cosy atmosphere. They are kept meticulously clean. Many of the pitches offer a beautiful view of the lake. Several trees dot the site. The pitches have a grass surface. The area is eminently suited for walking and cycling. Guided walks are also offered. The site has 126 pitches of which 90 grass ones are for touring units and have 16-amp hook-up point. There are also 4 bungalows and a log cabin available to hire.

There is no swimming pool, but swimming in the lake is allowed. A large wooden tepee serves as the central meeting place. This is an ideal spot for nature lovers and is therefore mainly frequented by holiday makers looking for quiet and space.01/04

Directions to Camping Dobbertiner See

From the A19 exit 16 Malchow join the B192 towards Alt Schwerin. Now stay on the B192 to Goldberg and turn right to stay on the B192 towards Dobbertin. In Dobbertin turn left onto L124 Kleestener Weg. This then changes to Schulstrabße. Now turn left onto An der Mühle. Follow site signs.
