Alan Rogers Review of Camping des Trois Châteaux
The village of Eguisheim, ‘cradle of the Alsace vineyards’, lies on the Alsace Route des Vins to the west of Colmar. The three châteaux from which the site gets its name are clearly visible on the hill behind the site. Being close to the village, Les Trois Châteaux is always busy. Flowers, shrubs and trees, and well-tended grass areas make this a very pleasant place.
The 121 pitches, 115 with electricity (6/10A), are either on a slight slope or a terrace and are marked and numbered, most with good shade. Around 80% of pitches have some gravel hardstandings, most of irregular shape and size. We see this site as being suitable primarily for adults rather than families.
The facilities of the fascinating village of Eguisheim are close and the site is well located for exploring this delightful part of Alsace.
Facilities at Camping des Trois Châteaux
The single heated sanitary block in the centre of the site has hot showers and warm water only to washbasins. Some washbasins in cubicles and accessible facilities. Motorhome services. Playground. WiFi (free). Chalets to rent.
