Alan Rogers Review of Camping des Pêches
This relatively recently constructed touring campsite is on the side of Lake Biel and the river Thielle, close to the old town of Le Landeron. The site is divided into two sections: on the lake side of the road are residential seasonal caravans, and on the other is the modern campsite for tourists. The 160 touring pitches are all on level grass, numbered but not separated; a few have shade, all have 13A electricity and many conveniently placed water points.
All the facilities are well maintained and in good condition. There is a specially designed outdoor area for children: A water play area with a specially designed shock-absorbing floor with fountains and sprinklers. There is also a play area with climbing ropes, a trampoline, swings and a slide. There is also an outdoor community swimming pool located 5 minutes by foot from the campsite.
A short walk brings you to the historic old town. The old medieval village of Landeron, nearby, hosts various events in the summer season such as markets and jazz concerts.
Facilities at Camping des Pêches
The spacious, modern sanitary block contains all the usual facilities, including a food preparation area with six cooking rings, a large freezer and a refrigerator. Payment for showers is by card. Baby room. Accessible Facilities. Laundry. Motorhome services. Community room and small café in the reception building. Shop, restaurant and takeaway (all season). Playground. Bicycle hire and Electric bicycle hire. TV and general room. WiFi throughout. Pets allowed, Dog walking field.

Le Landeron is signed from the Neuchâtel-Biel motorway, exit 19 and site is well signed from the town.
