Situated in a quiet location on the side of a valley and with easy access from the Autobahn 61, Camping Der Lindelgrund is a family run site with 44 touring pitches, all with 8A electricity. The mainly terraced grass/gravel pitches are level, have some tree shade and are separated by grape vines. From many parts of the site there are views over the valley. Just inside the entrance is a useful quick stop overnight facility. Situated between the Rhine and Mosel rivers, this is a useful base from which to tour an interesting region seeped in history.

The camp site, first opened in 1972, was developed by the Faust family from land used for the extraction of moulding sand, and the narrow gauge railway used to transport the sand was the inspiration for the railway museum which adjoins the site. With its peaceful situation and close proximity to the spa town of Bad Kreuznach, lots of old castles and other interesting places to visit, to the area is ideal for those seeking tranquillity and relaxation.

Two heated sanitary blocks with all the usual facilities, but one in touring area is likely to be under pressure in busy periods. Open style washbasins and small, controllable showers (token). Accessible Facilities. Washing machine. Motorhome service area. Gas supplies. Small shop. Restaurant with terrace (Apr-Oct). Fresh bread available. Adventure playground with tree house. Petting zoo. Bicycle hire. Wine tasting occasionally. WiFi (free).

From autobahn 61 take exit 47, Dreieck Nahtal follow signs to Windesheim then Guldental. After Guldental site is signed to right, South. (Note, some sat nav systems do not recognize Guldental. Use co-ordinates.)
